Over the last few years anti-counterfeiting has become an increasingly important issue for the organisers of major exhibitions, trade fairs, concerts and sporting events and for public transport. In order to facilitate security controls Fleischhauer offers the following specialised features:

Holograms ...

... are iridescent security features which show an optical effect when viewed from varying angles, for instance a moving image or changing colours. Holographic security foil can be affixed to the ticket as a stripe, as single holograms or in any other pattern desired.

Fluorescent inks (visible/invisible) ...

... are only visible under ultraviolet light. When photocopied in colour the print loses its fluorescent quality and the tone of visible inks changes noticeably.

Materials with fluorescent fibres (visible / invisible)

Beside the print image there is also the possibility of protecting a ticket against counterfeiting using specially treated card.

In this case the material contains coloured fibres which are either visible to the naked eye or become visible under ultraviolet light.

Copy-protected inks ...

... cannot be copied effectively because they change their tone noticeably during copying.

Barcode blocker

For barcode systems the area of the ticket on which the barcode will be printed can be specially treated with a barcode blocker. This does not prevent the original barcode being read by the scanner but should the ticket be copied the blocker turns black and the barcode can no longer be read.

Microprint ...

... offers sure protection against counterfeit colour copies and scans. This technology is used to protect, for example, EURO banknotes against counterfeiting. If the ticket is copied, the microprint is lost. The forgery can be discovered simply by using a magnifying glass.

Magnetic tape variations

It has recently become possible to replace the usual brown or black magnetic tape on tickets with coloured magnetic tape. As an additional security feature the magnetic tape can be printed with individual designs by the manufacturer.
